Notes from Bandelier

A quick tour: the room is anchored by the linen bed and softened by the navy velvet drapes — the two most present textures in the room. The whitewashed oak carries through the nightstands and the long dresser, so it reads as one wood family, not a mix. The pop of terracotta on the lumbar and the cognac on the reading-nook chair are the two warm accents that keep everything from feeling too cool.

On the reading nook — one chair, one mirror, that's the whole plan. The mirror leans (not hung) so nothing has to go into the plaster, and it doubles the light from the west window in the late afternoon.

Sourcing order — I'd start with the bed and the drapes (longest lead times, ~10 weeks from McGee and ~4 from Half Price). Then the dresser and nightstands, then the accessories. The Article swivel ships fast.

Reply to this page's URL or email hello@bandelier.studio with anything you want to talk through. Excited for this one.
